First Ever Winter Run to Recovery!

This is a simple5K  run/walk with no bells and whistles!
No T-shirts or prizes, just you, the asphalt and an opportunity to run. Your  $10 registration will benefit the Relay for Life of Baker County. You can register online at the link on the right (there is an additional charge) or register on race day at the Run to Recovery booth at 139 East Macclenny Avenue in downtown Macclenny starting at 10am. Race begins at 11am.
**T-shirts from older events are available for a donation if interested.**

What a great run this morning!!
A special thanks to all who participated!! I failed to mention that Davis Golf Carts supplied the "Paddy Wagon" used at our race. Thank goodness we didn't need it!
We also had very good friends of mine, the Hall Family - Bobby, Donna, Kristen and Dylan - who shared their time - AND WATER!! - with us. Thanks to Jon Fletcher for the pictures, he will post them to our fb page tonight!

It's Electric!!

It's official! This year's race will be electronically-timed!! Yay! We're big time now!! If you're planning on running, we will have an additional opportunity to sign up on Friday from 4-6 p.m. at Sports Shak located at West Macclenny Avenue in Macclenny. You can register, pick up your race T-shirt & electronic running bib.

Mail-in Registrations

For those of you who would still like to mail in your forms, they will be accepted for the $15 race fee if they are postmarked on or before April 2nd. April 1st is a Sunday so we will allow an extra day.

Register online

You can register online for the 5K (13 years and up) or kids' run (5-12 years) anytime before April 1st. The cost is $16.95. Signing up after 4/1 will cost an extra $5. You'll have to register in person when we give out race packets and tees or on race day.

2012 5K date is set!!

We're ready for another 5K to benefit the American Cancer Society!! This year's run/walk will be held on Saturday, April 14th at 8a.m. Same place, same race route. Beginning on West Ohio Ave, just north of Memorial Park's walking track and ending on North 8th Street at the parking lot of the duck pond side of the park, this 3.1 mile course winds its way through residential neighborhoods in northern Macclenny.
